It connects the steering column switch to the engine control unit and BCM, allowing full cruise control operation including speed setting, acceleration, deceleration, and resume functions.
Important Compatibility Requirements:
- BCM Requirement: Minimum BCM version 6R0 937 087 (Midline/Highline) required. BCM 6R0 937 086 or lower will not support cruise control and must be replaced.
- Vehicle Platform: PQ25 platform vehicles including VW Polo 6R, Vento, Ameo, Jetta, and Skoda Fabia 5J, Rapid, among others.
- Diagnostic Coding: Final coding must be completed using diagnostic interface after installation. For vehicles with long coding, use diagnostic interface 38772.
