CAN Bus Wiring Instructions:

To ensure proper CAN bus communication, follow these steps based on your vehicle’s configuration:

Option 1: ISO Connector with Active CAN Wires (Volkswagen Only)

• If your car has an ISO connector with active CAN wires (pins 1 and 5) and a Bluetooth-capable stereo:
• Connect the Orange + Gray wire to Pin 5 (CAN-H).
• Connect the Orange + Purple wire to Pin 1 (CAN-L).
• Note: This method is not applicable to Skoda vehicles, as pins 1 and 5 are dummy in their ISO connectors.

Option 2: Automatic Climate Control (Skoda or Volkswagen)

• If your car lacks active CAN wires in the ISO connector but has automatic climate control:
• Locate the black block connector on the climate control unit.
• Match and connect the Orange + Gray and Orange + Purple wires to the corresponding pins on the climate control connector.

Option 3: BCM Connection (No Active ISO or Climate Control)

• If your car lacks active CAN wires in the ISO connector and does not have automatic climate control:
• Tap the Orange + Gray wire to Pin 20 (CAN-H) on the Body Control Module (BCM).
• Tap the Orange + Purple wire to Pin 21 (CAN-L) on the BCM.
• Note: Verify BCM pinouts for your specific vehicle model. No support or guarantee is provided for this method.
