What is ballast?
Xenon headlight ballasts are an important component of HID lighting systems for automotive headlights and other applications, acting as a DC to AC converter to provide brighter, more efficient lighting. Although xenon bulb have a long service life, the quality of the ballast is directly related to the service life of the entire system because it does not work independently. Poor quality xenon ballasts do not keep the same service life as a xenon bulb and can keep strong electromagnetic interference during operation, affecting the operation of radio and electronic equipment in the vehicle, which can lead to flickering, beam tilting that doesn’t work or light failure. So choosing a good quality hid ballast also means you can enjoy the real advantages of Hid bulbs.

How to Replace Ballasts:
1. Cut off the power supply to the lamps and lanterns.
2. Carefully disconnect the wiring harness connection between the ballast and the headlight bulb and remove the headlight ballast.
3. Remove the screws or bolts to take off the new ballast and place the set screws in the position where you took off the old xenon ballast.
4. Reconnect the wiring harness from the new ballast to the headlight bulb.
5. Carefully insert the xenon bulb back into the headlight assembly.

Important Fitment, Build-to-Order & Return Information
This Auto Dimming IRVM is designed specifically for Mahindra 7XO (till AX7), XUV700 (all variants), ScorpioN (all variants) and Marazzo (all variants). It can also be used on XUV500 when ordered after informing us about the vehicle so that we can dispatch compatible version applicable to models with rain/light sensor.
Each mirror is built to order and includes a fragile glass part. Due to the custom build process and the risk of damage during return shipping, cancellations, returns and exchanges are not allowed for wrong vehicle selection or change of mind.
Installation requires reusing the original Mahindra IRVM metal plate. Please scan the QR code on the side of the mount to watch the step-by-step video showing how to safely remove the plate from the stock mirror and transfer it to this auto-dimming mirror.
The Non-Returnable policy does not affect your warranty rights. If the mirror does not perform as expected or develops a fault, our support team is available to help you troubleshoot and, where applicable, the standard Durvient warranty policy will apply.
