What is the difference between the Online Cable and Offline Cable?
The Online Cable (₹10,499) receives online firmware upgrades via the software suite for compatibility with new releases. The Offline Cable (₹4,999) operates on a fixed software version and does not support firmware upgrades.
Will this cable work on Mac or Linux computers?
No, it requires a native Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 (64-bit) operating system. Virtual machines are unsupported.
Can I use this cable on cars with SFD 2.0 locks?
Vehicles produced after March 2024 (or CBU models from 2020 onward) use SFD 2.0 protection on critical modules like engine and ABS. VCDS cannot bypass SFD 2.0 locks without dealership authorization tokens.
What installation support is included?

Perform factory-level automotive diagnostics, fault code clearing, and ECU feature adjustments with the VCDS HEX V2 Diagnostic Interface Cable. Built for Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and Seat vehicles (1999 to current models), this hardware interface connects to 64-bit Windows PCs via USB.

  • Online Cable : Supports online firmware updates via the official software suite to stay current with upcoming VAG vehicle releases.
  • Offline Cable : Uses a fixed software/firmware version for standard diagnostics and coding without online firmware upgrade capability.
