1. Policy Overview & 4-Step Process
At Durvient, we stand behind the quality of our automotive retrofits and accessories.
To ensure fair trade practices under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020,
we maintain an unambiguous return, replacement, and refund policy.
1

2

Provide your Order ID, clear photos, and the mandatory continuous unboxing video.
3
Ship with RMA
Pack securely in original packaging with the RMA slip and ship to our Pune warehouse.
4
Testing & Refund
Our lab inspects the part; refund or replacement is initiated within 7 working days.
2. 5-Day Return & Exchange Window
Returns and exchanges must be formally requested within five (5) calendar days from the date of confirmed delivery by the courier partner. Requests submitted after this 5-day window cannot be accommodated under return policies (though eligible manufacturing issues may still transition to our Warranty Policy).
An approved return authorization (RMA) is valid for two (2) working days for dispatch by the customer.
Acceptance of visibly crushed, opened, or tampered parcels from the courier voids return eligibility unless supported by delivery agent endorsement.
3. Product Eligibility & Original Packaging Standards
Due to the delicate nature of electronic micro-circuitry and automotive optical assemblies:
“Returnable” Products: Products designated as Returnable on their product page are eligible for return and full refund if returned in factory-mint, uninstalled condition with intact seals.
“Exchange Only” Products: Items designated for Exchange are eligible exclusively for replacement with the exact same product model (e.g., swapping socket variant or pinout). Exchanges for entirely different product categories are not permitted.
Intact Packaging Mandatory: The item must be in its original, undamaged retail box with all inner styrofoam/blister trays, user manuals, and wiring leads.
Zero Tape on Retail Boxes:Do not apply courier tape, labels, or adhesive directly on the manufacturer retail box. Wrap the box in an external outer carton or bubble wrap before handing over to the courier. Parcels received with tape stuck directly onto the retail packaging will be rejected.
4. Refund SLA & Mode of Payment
Once your returned package reaches our Pune facility and passes technical bench-testing:
Processing SLA: Refunds are processed within seven (7) working days of verification.
Original Payment Method: For prepaid orders (UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking), refunds are credited back to the original source account. You will receive an email containing the Refund Reference Number (RRN).
Bank Turnaround: Banks and payment gateways typically credit funds within 3–5 working days following RRN generation.
Maximum Refund Limit: Under no circumstance can a refund amount exceed the net product value paid for the item. Original outbound shipping fees (including Express/Air freight) are non-refundable as they are remitted directly to carriers upon label creation.
5. Mandatory Unboxing Video Protocol
📹 Essential Buyer Protection: Continuous Uncut Unboxing Video
To eliminate fraudulent claims and protect genuine buyers against courier transit pilferage, customers are strictly required to record a continuous, uncut video while opening the parcel for the first time.
The unboxing video must clearly show the intact outer shipping label, all 6 sides of the package prior to cutting, and the actual extraction of the product.
In the event of visible damage or missing components, the unboxing video must be submitted via WhatsApp (+91 70209 35643) within 4 to 5 hours of delivery so an immediate carrier dispute can be registered before the carrier claim window closes.
6. Special Automotive Electronics Clause: LED Hyperflash
💡 Important Technical Note for Automotive Turn Signals
When installing aftermarket LED indicator bulbs into vehicles originally equipped with halogen filaments, instances of rapid blinking or hyperflash are NOT a defect in the LED bulb.
Hyperflash occurs because high-efficiency LEDs draw substantially less electrical wattage than 21W incandescent bulbs, causing the vehicle's Body Control Module (BCM) or mechanical flasher relay to falsely perceive a blown bulb.
This behavior is standard across automotive CANBUS architectures and is easily rectified by installing an inline 50W 6Ω load resistor or an LED-compatible electronic flasher relay.
Return or replacement requests citing hyperflash without attempting resistor installation will not be treated as manufacturing defects. Our support team will provide technical wiring guidance upon request.
7. Cash on Delivery (COD) Return & Refund Rules
Refund via Store Credit: For eligible returns on Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are issued exclusively in the form of Durvient Store Credit. Direct cash or bank account transfers are not supported for COD orders.
Non-Refundable COD Advance: The partial advance payment collected at checkout is strictly non-refundable once the order has been booked or dispatched.
Doorstep Refusal Deductions: If a dispatched COD shipment is refused at the delivery address, the return freight (RTO charges) assessed by the courier will be forfeited from the advance payment.
8. Return Shipping & Logistics Costs
Customer Arranged Returns: Shipping costs incurred in returning an item for exchange or inspection are borne by the customer, using a tracked courier service.
Exceptions (Our Responsibility): If Durvient inadvertently shipped the incorrect model, wrong pinout, or an item demonstrably damaged in transit, we will arrange a reverse pickup or reimburse standard ground return freight upon verification.
9. Undelivered Shipments & Return-to-Origin (RTO)
Failed Delivery Attempts: Couriers make up to three delivery attempts. If delivery fails due to customer non-availability, incorrect address, or unresponsiveness, the parcel is flagged as Return-to-Origin (RTO).
RTO Refunds: Refunds on RTO parcels are processed only after the physical parcel is received back at our Pune warehouse. Applicable carrier RTO freight charges will be deducted from the refund.
False Delivery Claims: If a tracking status indicates “Delivered” but you have not received the parcel, you must report it within 4 to 8 hours. Carrier Proof-of-Delivery (POD) disputes take 10–15 business days for courier GPS and OTP verification.
10. Pre-Orders & Clearance Sale Items
Pre-Orders (Back-Orders): Products specially imported or sourced on a pre-order basis cannot be cancelled once placed. If an issue arises upon delivery, our Warranty Policy applies. If a pre-ordered product becomes permanently unobtainable, a 100% full refund is issued.
Clearance Sale Products: Products purchased from our Clearance Sale or Refurbished outlet are Final Sale and ineligible for returns or exchanges, unless dead-on-arrival (DOA) within 24 hours.
11. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Returns and exchanges are accepted up to 5 days from the date of delivery. Only products designated as Returnable or Exchangeable on their product page are eligible.
Prepaid orders are refunded directly to the original payment source within 7 working days of warehouse receipt. You will receive an official Refund Reference Number (RRN). Cash on Delivery orders are refunded via Durvient Store Credit.
An uncut unboxing video protects you against transit theft or carrier damage. Courier companies require video proof within 24 hours to honor damage claims.
No. Hyperflash is caused by vehicle ECU sensing low LED wattage. It is easily solved with a 50W 6Ω load resistor or electronic LED flasher relay and is not a defect in the bulb.
Once the carrier formally declares the shipment status as “Lost,” we issue a full refund or dispatch an immediate replacement within 2–3 working days.
