Which bulb socket types does this LED bulb replace?
This bulb replaces standard miniature push-in wedge base bulbs including T15, W16W (White / Red), WY16W (Amber), 921, and 912.
Which vehicles use T15 bulbs for reverse lights?
T15 is widely used as a reverse backup bulb across many modern vehicles including Mahindra Thar / Roxx, ScorpioN, Honda City, Toyota Innova Crysta / Hycross, Fortuner, Maruti Baleno, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, XL6, Toyota Glanza, Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, Kylaq, Rapid, and most dual-reverse Hyundai and Kia models.
Will this bulb cause hyperflashing on indicators?
On most vehicles, the built-in Canbus decoding IC and resistors prevent hyperflashing. However, Mahindra vehicles (ScorpioN, Thar, Roxx, 3XO, XUV300) have highly sensitive BCM flasher monitoring on turn signal circuits and require an external 25W load resistor installed in parallel to eliminate hyperflashing.
Are these bulbs polarity sensitive?
No, they feature non-polarity wedge terminals and can be inserted into the socket in either orientation.
Can I use these bulbs for daytime running lights (DRLs)?
No. These LED bulbs are specifically engineered for intermittent-duty signaling applications like reverse backup lights, turn signals, and brake lights. They should not be used as continuous DRLs.

Notice for Mahindra Vehicle Owners:

Most Mahindra vehicles (including ScorpioN, Scorpio Classic, XUV300, 3XO, Thar, and Thar Roxx) use sensitive BCM flasher circuits that detect lower LED current draw as a blown lamp when upgrading turn signals, causing hyperflashing. To resolve this, install a 25W load resistor in parallel with each indicator bulb to ensure steady, factory flash timing. Returns are not accepted for hyperflashing resulting from indicator installation without the required load resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
