Can I use these LED bulbs for Daytime Running Lights (DRL)?
No. These high-output LED bulbs are strictly prohibited for Daytime Running Lights (DRL) or continuous-use forward lighting. They are engineered exclusively for intermittent auxiliary lighting such as reverse backup lights, brake lights, rear fog lamps, and turn indicators.
What is the difference between BA15S (P21W) and BAU15S (PY21W)?
Look at the two small metal locking pins on the side of the base: BA15S (P21W) has pins directly opposite each other at 180 degrees. BAU15S (PY21W) has offset pins at 150 degrees. They are not interchangeable, so check your factory bulb before ordering.
Which color should I choose for my vehicle?
Select White for reverse backup lights and clear rear lamps. Select Red for brake, stop, and rear fog lamp housings. Select Amber only if your indicator housing uses a 180° straight pin socket with an orange lens.
Can I use this bulb for turn indicators?
Only if your vehicle's turn signal housing uses 180° straight pins (common on vehicles with orange/amber diffuser lenses or classic motorcycles). If your vehicle has a transparent/clear indicator lens, it requires cross-pin PY21W (BAU15S 150°) bulbs instead.
What if I am still unsure whether my vehicle takes BA15S or BAU15S?
Simply remove your existing bulb, take a clear photo of the side locking pins on the metal base, and send it to Durvient customer support. Our technical team will verify the exact fitment for you free of charge.

  • 180° Straight Pin Base (BA15S / 1156): Features two locking pins positioned directly opposite each other at 180 degrees. Used for reverse backup lights (White), brake / stop lights (Red), and rear fog lamps.
  • Strictly NOT for DRL Use: These high-output bulbs are designed for intermittent auxiliary lighting (reverse, brake, rear fog, indicators). Do NOT use as Daytime Running Lights (DRL) or headlights, as continuous hours of operation will cause thermal overload.

Purchased amber color LEDs for the brake lights.
Amber color looks good compared to red colour.
It is much better than the stock halogen bulbs. However, I was expecting it to be a lot brighter when the brake is engaged.
The difference in light intensity between brake engaged and otherwise is negligible.
Would have appreciated if it was a bit brighter.

Purchased these bulbs for the reverse lamps and I'm very happy to be making this purchase. The price of ârs.799 for a pair of bulbs is justified.

These bulbs are so bright that you cannot look directly into the light source.
I have attached a video captured from a distance of 100 meters during day time, just to show how powerful the light beam is.
At night it is way too bright for the phone's camera to capture it correctly.

In terms of the design of the bulbs, they look really good.

Got the brake LEDs for my XUV700 AX7L model — pretty sorted and working exactly as expected. I’ve been using them for a few weeks now and haven’t faced any issues so far. Opening the tail lamp for installation was a bit of a task, but that’s a one-time effort and has nothing to do with the LEDs themselves.

These LEDs are truly recommended for all XUV700 owners who want brighter, cleaner brake lights compared to the stock bulbs. The brightness is noticeably better and adds a premium touch.
