Can I connect this LED bulb directly into my factory OEM HID ballast?
No. This kit is a direct 12V DC ballast-bypass system. It must NOT be connected to the high-voltage output socket of the factory Xenon ballast. The red (+) and black (-) wires connect directly to the vehicle's standard 12V headlight feed before the ballast.
How do I control the light colors and brightness?
Download the companion smartphone app (iOS & Android) via the QR code included in the box. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and connect to pair instantly. The app allows stepless color shifting between 3000K, 4300K, and 6500K, custom color mixing, and 0–100% brightness dimming. You can also cycle your vehicle headlight switch off and on to change primary color modes.
Do I need to physically remove the factory ballast from my headlight?
No, you do not need to physically remove the factory ballast. In many luxury and premium vehicles, the ballast seals the bottom or rear of the headlamp housing to prevent moisture ingress. You only need to unplug its power input harness and route the direct 12V leads to the LED driver.
Will this fit inside headlights with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)?
Yes. The bulb base and heat sink have been designed to maintain adequate clearance inside the projector housing, allowing motorized AFS swivel and auto-leveling mechanisms to move freely without obstruction.
Will this trigger bulb-out dashboard errors or headlight flickering?
The external driver modules integrate heavy-duty Canbus decoding and inductive filtering designed to maintain standard 12V current draw and prevent bulb-out errors on European, Japanese, and American vehicle architectures.

⚠️ Important Installation Notice: OEM Ballast Bypass Required

This kit is a direct 12V DC wire conversion and MUST NOT be plugged into the factory high-voltage OEM Xenon ballast socket.

  • Disconnect Factory Ballast: The LED module operates on standard 12V vehicle power. Connecting it directly to a high-voltage HID ballast will destroy the driver and LED circuitry and void the warranty.
  • Direct 12V Power Connection: Connect the included pigtail wires directly to your headlight power harness before the ballast:
    • Red Wire: Connect to vehicle +12V positive feed.
    • Black Wire: Connect to vehicle negative / chassis ground (-).
  • Ballast Housing: You do not need to physically remove the factory ballast if it forms the weather seal at the bottom of your headlamp housing. Simply unplug its power input harness.
