After two years of continuous improvements and customer feedback, we’ve developed a complete solution to the vibration and durability issues in our previous IRVM mounts. This exclusive mount replacement service addresses the fundamental design limitations we’ve been working to overcome.
Our Journey to This Solution:
Our original IRVM mounts used Mahindra’s manual mirror components, which featured a small 16mm ball joint struggling to support 300g+ mirror weight. When we allowed customers to send their own mirrors for retrofitting, the situation worsened – used mirrors arrived damaged, and after cutting, mounts had to support 600g across 10.5″ width.
Switching to brand new Mahindra mirrors helped, but the underlying weak structure remained. Despite multiple installation warnings, the ball joint remained prone to damage during installation by inexperienced hands.
This forced us to stop accepting new orders and dedicate ourselves to developing a proper solution. After countless prototypes and overcoming numerous hurdles, we’ve created a mount that blends factory auto-dimming mirror components with our custom 3D printed design, virtually eliminating vibrations.
